FunSeries Tournament Rules
The rules, which are kept to a minimum
are:
Anglers
All anglers are to have a
valid fishing license as required by
Boats

All boats must be
a minimum of 12 feet in length
·
No Live Bait.
Only artificial lures may be used. Trolling is not allowed.
·
Boats must have a
livewell capable of keeping a 5 fish limit alive and
in good health for the duration of the tournament.This
does NOT have to be a built in livewell as long as it
is of adequate size to support 5 fish, and has a pump and aeration system.

All boats must
have all required USCG equipment on board
·
Boats must be
legally registered
Safety
·
Live jacket use
is required of any contestant who is under 16 when the boat is in motion,and is suggested for all
contestants. Children are the
·
Anyone operating
in an unsafe manner is subject to disqualification.
·
No alcoholic
beverages or illegal drugs in the boat at anytime.
Fish
·
All fish must be
at least 12" long. No courtesy check will be given. Short fish will result
in a one pound penalty per short fish.
·
Only largemouth
and smallmouth bass will be weighed.
·
All fish must be
alive when weighed in. Penalty for a dead fish is .25 pounds (4 ounces).
Anglers who consistantly have a high number of dead
fish may be barred from further entry in series tournaments until improvements
are made in their livewell system.
·
No mangled,
altered or weighted fish allowed to be weighed in. Fish, crawfish or any other reguritated material will NOT be weighed with the fish.
·
Fish must be
alive to be eligible to win the lunker pool
·
Tournament limit
is 5 fish per boat. Weighing in more than 5 fish will result in the loss of
your biggest fish, and an additional 1 pound penalty. Culling must be done
immediately upon catching a 6th fish.

All protests must be made before weigh in is
completed and prizes paid out. Protests must be in writing.
